Aim: The objective of the course is to provide deeper knowledge in manufacturing management. Special attention is paid to the holistic view of manufacturing, the understanding of different planning systems and their applications and the use of quantitative techniques. After taking this course, the students should be able to formulate, analyse and solve manufacturing planning and control problems. Both theoretical and practical aspects are treated.Prerequisites: TPPE07 Production and Operations Management.Supplementary courses: TPPE47 Integrated Manufacturing Management. TPPE50 Manufacturing Strategies.
