| Aim: The course intends to give basic knowledge and skills in water suuply and drainage systems and skills in construction of drainage systems.Prerequisites: TNBI44 Hydraulics and hydrology.Course organization: The teaching consists of lectures and laboratory work.Course content: We start with a descripton of the freshwaterconsumtion, methods for cleaning of water, waterreservoires, dimension of waterpipe-systems, classification and handling of drainage waters. The course continue with dimensioning of sewage-pipes, cleaning of foul water, design of fresh-water and sewage-pipesystems, operation, maintainance and renewal of the pipe-systems.The course ends with a rewiew of the legislation and some case studies.Course literature: The litterature will be decided later on. | ||
