Aim:
To give knowledge and a general view of electrical machinery and electrical power systems.

Prerequisites:
Electromagnetic Field Theory, Basic Electronics and Measurement Technology.

Course content:
Three-phase systems, production and distribution of electrical power. Safety precautions, rules and regulations. The power transformer, power lines, industrial equipment. DC machines, induction motors and synchronous machines. Control of electrical machines, power electronics.
