TFMJ14 | Environmental Science and Technology, 7,5 ECTS-points /Miljöteknik/ Advancement level: B | |
Aim: The course is a combination of the two courses Environmental Technology, TFMJ 02 and Environmental Science, TFMJ 03. Part 1: The student shall gain an understanding of the environmental impact from large technical systems for transport, energy, and water handling. A holistic view of the environmental issues is applied as including both resource and pollution problems. Further, the student shall be accustomed to ways of decreasing environmental impact by means of technical solutions. Preventive measures are emphasized as well as changes in the technical systems for a development in a direction towards sustainability.
