Aim:
This course intends to provide a conceptual framework for the management control process. It presents the different phases of management control and provides models used in this process.

Course organization:
The course is given as a series of lectures and seminars. There is also an exercise in computer-assisted business planning.

Course content:
There are five major areas that are discussed in the course: 1. Basic definitions of the management control system 2. Financial and management accounting 3. Budgeting 4. Product costing 5. Capital budgeting
