Aim:
To give theoretical knowledges in calculus of one variable. After the course the student must be able to
- cite and use the definitions and theorems of limit, continuity and derivatives.
- prove central theorems in these subjects.

Course contents:
Limits: definitions and theorems. Continuity. The supremum axiom for the real numbers, the Bolzano-Weierstrass theorem, theorems of intermediate and maximum and minimum values. Uniform continuity. Derivatives: definition and theorems. Rolle's theorem and the mean value theorem.
