Aim:
The course is focused on environmental impacts and toxicological effects of potentially harmful substances. Having successfully completed this course, the student is expected to:
- have a basic knowledge about ecotoxicology and environmental monitoring with biological methods
- be able to perform an ecotoxicity test of a chemical, including interpretation and presentation of the data obtained
- be able to perform environmental monitoring with biological methods, including interpretation and presentation of the data obtained

Organisation:
The course includes lectures, seminars, laboratory studies. Some of the lectures and instructions during the course may be given in English.
