| Organisation: Lectures, seminars, and independent empirical group study |
|||
| Course contents: The course has its roots in organisational theory and will through lectures and case studies introduce the students to the phenomena of leadership. A special relationship between the leader and the follower (the led), power and authority and also how the performance of a leader, the group processes and participating might be designed. Concepts of leadership will be threatened through theories and models from leadership research. The relation between style and behaviour of leadership will be discussed. Seminars: Different seminars, in groups, will help to develop a deeper understanding of leadership and organisations. Through supervised work in groups a paper have to be prepared and discussed in the final seminar. |
