Aim:
After the course the student will be able to:
  • use an object oriented programming language and its libraries
  • construct a non-trivial program according to the object oriented mehtodology
  • design a computer program
  • improve a computer program by arranging and participating in code review meetings


Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)


Note: Admission requirements for non-programme students usually also include admission requirements for the programme and threshhold requirements for progression within the programme, or corresponding.

Organisation:
The course follows the general model for IP projects. The project work will be conducted in groups of two students.

Course contents:
Craft: Application of constructs in an object oriented language (C++) in a suitable way. Experience of using tools in program implementation. Code design. Experience of project phases: design, implementation, testing, documentation.

Final grade is set as a composite grade based on document handins and program demonstration.
