Aim:
The overall aim is to increase skills for modeling regional energy from sustainable perspective. After the course students should:
  • have knowledge of various national and international scenarios for the energy system's composition in 2050 and its impact on the climate
  • have knowledge of methods for energy planning
  • have knowledge of the interplay between energy supply and energy use in the sectors buildings, transportation and industries.
  • have knowledge of various methods and tools for strategic planning of sustainable regional energy systems


Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
Sustainable Energy Systems, Energy Conversion, Building Energy Systems, Industrial Energy Systems, Energy Systems Analysis
