Aim:
The course is mainly based on laboratory exercises and it aims at the development of the student�?Ts ability to perform experimental chemical work, either for further studies in chemistry, or for a career as school teacher in chemistry. After passing the course the student is able to:
  • describe some methods qualitative inorganic analysis
  • describe the fundamentals of descriptive inorganic chemistry


Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)

Organisation:
The course consists of seminars and laboratory exercises.
The course runs over the entire spring semester.


Course contents:
Qualitative chemical analysis of cations and anions. Redox chemistry. Descriptive inorganic chemistry.
