Aim:
The course aims to deepen the understanding of the design process in printed and digital media, and the importance of targeted personalized communications. The student should after the course:
  • Understand the process in the preparation of printed matter
  • Understand the importance of target group adapted communication
  • Know how target groups are defined
  • Have knowledge of brand communication
  • Be able to produce communication materials for a given brand towards a given target group for print or other media.


Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
Communications & User Interfaces

Organisation:
The course comprises of lectures, lessons, laborations, workshops and one assignment as a project where to produce material for market communication.

Course contents:
Communication in marketing. Visual communications; image communications, graphic design; layout, graphic profiles. Color themes are taken up from different perspectives, e.g., the significance of color symbols in communication.
