| Aim: The objective of the course is to provide deeper knowledge in manufacturing management. Special attention is paid to the holistic view of manufacturing, the understanding of different planning systems and their applications and the use of quantitative techniques. After taking this course, the students should be able to formulate, analyse and solve manufacturing planning and control problems. Both theoretical and practical aspects are treated. |

| Organisation: Lectures and problem seminaries are mainly focused on the application of quantitative methods whereas the laboratory sessions highlight dynamic aspects using computer applications. |
