Aim:
After the course the student should
- have a broad knowledge about, and be able to explain, discuss and analyse concepts of organization theory including organizational culture, organization structure, organization environment and organization processes
- have a broad knowledge about, and be able to explain, discuss and analyse general models, methods and theories about the organization and management of different kinds of industrial projects
- have gained insights about the relationship between leadership and project scope

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
Three years of completed university studies with an engineering major.

Organisation:
The course comprises of lectures and seminars, as well as application of organizational arrangements and project methods in assignments.
The course runs over the entire autumn semester. It contains a written examination after the first period and a project presentation after the second.
