Aim:
The student shall, after finishing the course, be able to:
- Formulate and analyse basic traffic flow relations
- Formulate and use models for simulation of traffic flows
- Describe the basic notation, theory and models for analysis of capacity at intersections
- Describe signal setting strategies for isolated and interconnected intersections
- Make computations of capacities for isolated signalized intersections
