Aim:
The aim of the course is to give deeper knowledge within the area of human physiology.
|

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
Equivalent attemded basic program of biology with fullfilled "threshold"-demands (passed 50p with a min of 25p theory).
Note: Admission requirements for non-programme students usually also include admission requirements for the programme and threshhold requirements for progression within the programme, or corresponding.

Organisation:
The course consists of lectures and laboratories. The course also include a literature study which should be presented in a written report (in English) and at seminars (oral presentation).

Course contents:
The lectures include: basal neurophysiology, autonomic and central nervous system, muscle physiology, endocrinology, hematology, respiration, circulation, renal physiology and gastrointestinal physiology.
