Aim:
The course is mainly based on laboratory exercises and it aims at the development of the student�?Ts ability to perform experimental chemical work, either for further studies in chemistry, or for a career as school teacher in chemistry. After passing the course the student is expected to have gained the following competences:
  • knowledge of qualitative inorganic analysis
  • knowledge of inorganic synthesis
  • a deeper understanding of descriptive inorganic chemistry


Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)

Organisation:
The course consists of lectures and laboratory exercises.

Course contents:
Qualitative chemical analysis of cations and anions. Corrosion. Inorganic synthesis. Descriptive inorganic chemistry.
