Aim:
To give understanding of digital signal processor (DSP) architecture and methods of programming. Show the close relation between theory, algorithms and implementation
in hardware/software. After completing this course, students should be able to:
- describe the architecture of an DSP and explain the most relevant features
- explain the close relationship between the DSP and signalprocessing theory
- evalute one software platform (CCS) and MATLAB
- apply the theory for a practical signalprocessing project
