Aim:
After the course the student
  • has deep knowledge about and able to describe and discuss relevant models and theories about managing, organizing and controlling different kinds of industrial projects: product development, installation and administrative
  • understands the importance and consequences of suitable management for successful projects and important qualifications of the project manager
  • is able to identify and explain the organizational prerequisites creating possibilities and difficulties about the cooperation between the project and the base organization in a company and how this affects the possibilities to reach project goals
  • can analyse, explain and examine the role of the project manager by discussing and appraising relevant questions about generating long term organizational results
  • is able to develop and enhance knowledge about leading projects and being led in projects

    Organisation:
    The course is based on a list of qualifications on a project leader. The list is used in professional certification within international project organizations: PMI and IPMA. The students are requested to find there present profile and make a working schedule to learn what is needed to fulfil the basic level. The course comprises of lectures and seminars, as well as application of project methods and studies the project managerâ?Ts role
