Aim:
The course is intended to meet industry's requirements for engineers with knowledge in the quality field. After completing the course the student will be able to use the most common quality technology methods in product development and manufacture and will have acquired an aggressive view of the quality field.

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
A first course in Mathematical Statistics.

Lectures: 16 hrs; Seminars: 16 hrs. Laboratory work 4 hrs

Quality strategies, Quality systems: ISO 9000, Robust design, Design of experiments, FMEA, Fault tree analysis, Reliability, Statistical Process Control, Capability studies.
