| Aim: The course comprises of listening, simple conversation, written skills and Chinese technical language where the students are given practice reading advanced texts with technical language with the help of a dictionary. Moreover, students will practice listening to simple lectures in Chinese where technical language is used. |

| Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered) Note: Admission requirements for non-programme students usually also include admission requirements for the programme and threshhold requirements for progression within the programme, or corresponding. |

| Organisation: The course consists of lectures with repetitive practice and exercises and basic level lectures in Chinese. The course begins during the autumn semester and ends during the spring semester. |
