Aim:
The aim of this course is to introduce constructs and mechanisms in a programming language. The course focuses on problem solving and practical programming aspects. Upon completion of this course the student should be able to:
  • Implement solutions to various problems.
  • Use basic programming environment and tools.
  • Explain language constructs and their semantics.


Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)

Organisation:
The course consist of a set of explaining lectures, but much self-studies are expected. A number of scheduled and supervised laboratory exercises carried out in pairs will give programming experience.

Programming and basic programming tools.
