| Aim: This course is intended to meet industry's requirements for engineers with knowledge in the quality field. After completing the course the student will be able to use the most common tools and methods of quality engineering and will have acquired a progressive view of the quality field. After the completed course the student shall:

| Organisation: Teaching consists of lectures, lessons and obligatory computer exercises. |

| Course contents: Strategies within TQM, Customer focused product development, Reliability, Design of experiments, Robust design, Statistical process control, Capability, Process management, Management tools, Quality standards (GLP; Good Laboratory Practice). |
