Aim:
The goal of the course is to give a general introduction to fundamental principles for growth of semiconductors with suitable characteristics for device fabrication. In addition, advanced techniques for crystal growth will be demonstrated and the participants will be given a unique chance to combine theoretical knowledge with practical application. The course is connected to the research activities within semiconductor growth performed at the Institution of Physics and Measurement Technology in close collaboration with Swedish industry (ABB and others).
