Aim:
To give basic knowledge about physical phenomena related to wave motion.

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
TAIU10 Calculus, B.Sc. course (Calculus in one variable)

Organisation:
Lectures, Problem solving.

Course contents:
Mechanical waves including acoustics, Electromagnetic waves including optics. Wave motion in applications related to biology, data transmission, electronics, chemistry, medicine, music, optics, radio, radar etc.
