Aim:
The aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge of Molecular Genetics. After completing the course the student will be able to:
- give an account of the mechanisms for transcription and translation
- give an account of mutation, reparation and recombination of the DNA
describe the mechanisms for gene expression
- describe non-Mendelian inheritance
- give an account of theoretical knowledge in genomics
give an account of fundamental knowledge and experimental skills in the area of molecular genetics
