Aim:
The goal of this laboratory course is to illustrate some important parts of Quantum Physics and Solid State Physics, and to give experimental skills. After completing the course the student should be able to:
- Independently obtain necessary knowledge needed to carry out a given physical experiment.
- Critical judge prerequisites and result of a physical experiment
- Carry out an experiment and thereby that show large independence besides showing ability to cooperate in a group.
- Analyse sources of error and correctly report errors in obtained results.

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
Quantum Physics, Solid State Physics, Electronics and Measurement Technology.

Organisation:
The courses consist entirely of a number of laboratory experiments, preceded by compulsory introductions.
