Aim:
After the course the student should
- have a broad knowledge about, and be able to explain, discuss and analyse concepts of organization theory including organizational culture, organization structure, organization environment strategy and organization processes
- have a broad knowledge about, and be able to explain, discuss and use general models, methods and theories about the organization and management of different kinds of projects
- be able to explain and discuss the role of projects in organizational context

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
Three years of completed university studies with an engineering major.

Organisation:
The course comprises of lectures and seminars, as well as application of organizational arrangements and project methods in assignments.
The course runs over the entire autumn semester.

- Project definition, different type of project, pre-study, Methods for planning and execution of projects, Group development, communication and control, Methods used to follow up projects
