| Aim: This course will bring the students: - understanding of financial statements and reports in a company, - skills in economic judgement and calculation, - knowledge about budgeting and finance, - training in investment analysis. |

| Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered) Calculus and Mathematical Statistics Note: Admission requirements for non-programme students usually also include admission requirements for the programme and threshhold requirements for progression within the programme, or corresponding. |

| Organisation: The course is based on lectures and classes. During the lectures basic theory and descriptive overviews are presented. Problem solving and case discussions will dominate during the classes. |
