Aim:
This course is intended to meet industry's requirements for engineers with knowledge in the quality field. After completing the course the student will be able to use the most common quality technology methods in product development and manufacture and will have acquired an progressive view of the quality field.
- show knowledge about the fundamental values and principles of Quality Management
- explain how to work with Quality Management in organisations
- describe situations where quality methods can contribute to quality improvements in relation to process and product development
- use statistical process control, design of experiments, process mapping and reliability methods to solve industrial problems
- have fundamental understanding about how collected information on quality improvements can be validated
