Course contents:
In the theme, how we speak about and describe technology and science, in both popular scientific and scientific contexts, is problemized. We discuss how this affects our conceptions of gender/sex. Discussions and analyses are based on historical examples of the situation for women and men in academia and society. The introduction to the gender perspective on science and technology is combined with exercises in rhetoric and argumentation.
