Aim:
After the course the student should
- Understand the importance and consequences of organizing in projects in different industrial activities
- Have a deep knowledge about, be able to present, discuss and apply suitable project models and methods for project planning and result monitoring during the different phases of the project
- Be able to identify and explain important factors for the interplay between the project and the companyâ?Ts functional organization
- Be able to understand the role of the project manager and the conditions under which the project operates, as well as have developed knowledge about managing and leading projects and being managed and led in project.

Organisation:
The course takes a starting point in a list with requirements on necessary competencies for a project manager. This competence baseline is used for professional certification by international associations: PMI and IPMA. The course consists of lectures and seminars. The student also practically applies project methodology in excersizes.
The course runs over the entire autumn semester.
