Aim:
The purpose of the course is:
- to give basic knowledge in analysis and design of analog and discrete-time integrated circuits integrated in CMOS technology.
- to give understandings for the importance and the need of computer-aided analysis and synthesis methods.
After passing the couse the students should be able to:
- describe the relationship between different design parameters and measures of performance
- understand the influence of limitations and performance of different components
- specify requirements on OP and OTA amplifiers for use in systems
- perform charge analysis on SC-circuits and predict influence of parasitic capacitors
- design SC-filters starting from passive time continuos filters
- describe construction and function of AD- and DA-converters implemented in CMOS-technique
- perform noise analysis of CMOS-circuits
