Aim:
The aim of the course is to give student deep logsitical knowledge, based upon to state-of-the-art research and company applications. The course also provides knowledge about investigation methodology within logistics and increased understanding of how companies work when using modern logistics.

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
TETS13 Basic Logistics M and one of the following courses: TETS11 Integrated logistics M or TETS 22 Logistics analysis

Organisation:
The project work is done in groups of 2-5 students. The tutors give teaching in seminars by entering deeply into a field of research. The work will be carried on in collaboration with companies, organisations and others. Written and oral reports during the progress of the project are compulsory. Written final report.

Course contents:
The course gives knowledge of logistical investigation and research work. The content is decided on different cases in point within the research discipline Supply Chain Management (SCM).
The course also treats change management within logistics, i e not omly WHAT (which solution) but also HOW logistical changes should be implemented. different change strategies as well as relevant tools and models are described.
