Aim:
The aim of this course is to afford a general introduction and frame of reference for the study of technology and technical development in a social and historical context. The course focuses on those problems which are the subject of research at Tema Teknik and social changes.

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
Requisite general qualifications for university.

Note: Admission requirements for non-programme students usually also include admission requirements for the programme and threshhold requirements for progression within the programme, or corresponding.

Organisation:
This course is based on a series of lectures. Students are expected to complete two essay tasks.
