Aim:
The aim of this course is to give the student good knowledge on the industrial design flow, from product definition, through design and production, to producition test.

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)

Organisation:
12 Lecutures, 8 hours demonstration and one study visit. The course has a large number of guest teachers from Acreo and industry.
|

Course contents:
Industrial project management and management of complex design projects. Design verifica-tion and production test. Design support systems including design databases and version tracking, verification tools and tools for test generation. The ASIC backend flow. Production flow, vendor relations and production cost. Management of intellectual property rights (IPR) and related legal issues.
