| Aim: To give the student an opportunity to perform an independent study. The student should use his or her gained knowledge in physics to solve a given problem. The student should also show her or his ability to present the results both in writing and orally. The student should show his or her skill to penetrate and appreciate references and relevant literature within the problem area. The student should, furthermore, show the ability to read and criticize the final thesis of another student. |

| Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered) A total of 110 points must be passed, with a minimum of 70 points of physics courses, including all the basic courses in the Physics Programme and at least 10 points on the C/D level. The final thesis NFXC10 must be passed. Note: Admission requirements for non-programme students usually also include admission requirements for the programme and threshhold requirements for progression within the programme, or corresponding. |
