Aim:
This is the final course of the MSc program. Students will develop their skills in summarising, presenting and discussing research. (i) Oral presentations; (ii) Scientific writing; (iii) Poster and leaflet presentations; (iv) Popular science on the internet. Students will develop skills in analyzing their gained knowledge.

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
Enrolment in the MSc programme in Applied Biology.
NBXD40 Final Thesis.

Organisation:
The course consists of lectures, seminars, workshops.
|

Course contents:
- Lectures and discussions about oral presentation techniques, about how to review a written scientific text and how to provide efficient critique
- Presentation and critique of the research results obtained in the preceding 40 p course
- Lectures and seminars on the philosophy of science & ethics
- Seminars and workshops in written communication of biological research results. Seminars on analysing gained knowledge
