Aim:
The aim of the course is to give basic knowledge in planning and control of a traffic system and to give an overview of different classes of traffic models. The course should give insights about the principles and theories upon which the traffic models are based, give knowledge about how the theory and models are utilized in different applications, and give a practical insight about how model based planning tools can be used to describe and analyse problems related to planning and control in traffic systems.
