Aim:
After the course the students will be able to:
  • find scientific articles.
  • discuss the relevance of different research methods for different types of research
  • analyse and assess the methodology used in scientific papers within their own field of research
  • write a scientific report.
  • understand the philosophical aspects on science.


Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)

Organisation:
The lectures focus on theoretical perspectives. The seminars are used for analysing and discussing journal articles. Group assignments are integrated; read articles, discuss in group, present and discuss with other groups.
The course runs over the entire autumn semester.
