Aim:
To obtain knowledge on design and function of devices in organic-based electronic applications. To learn about characterization and simulation techniques of organic electronic devices.

Course contents:
Design of organic electronic devices. Light emitting diodes, solar cells and transistors. Design and performance differences been polymer-based vs small molecule based devices. Electrochemical transistors and electrochemical light emitting cells. Hybrid inorganic-organic devices such as nano-structured dye sensitized solar cells. Future technologies such as organic-based spintronics and organic-based memories. Labs: design, fabrication, simulation and characterization of organic electronic devices.
