Aim:
The participant should after the course be able to identify situations where Design of experiments could be important for quality improvement. Especially within the context of product and process development and in situation where robust design is necessary. Further the participant should be able to identify when safety and reliability analyses are relevant to perform.

Organisation:
The theoretical phases of the course are to be carried out in the form of seminars and exercises. In order to impart a practical connection to the course content the knowledge is applied by means of a number of group projects and discussions of case studies. In addition, a number of visiting lecturers will illuminate practical cases of current interest.
