Students should, as a result of the course,
- extend their knowledge of contemporary forms of Swedish cultural expression
- acquire a deeper understanding of the role and use of the various forms of cultural expression in Sweden in relation to the culture of their respective native countries
- be stimulated to engage in their own cultural activity and creativity with the help of different aesthetic manifestations.

| Kursinnehåll |
| The course contains further study of contemporary forms of Swedish cultural expression in pictorial representation/art, drama/theatre, movement/health, music/song and craftwork/handicraft both in text and non-text based practice. Also the student’s own production comprising comparative studies of Swedish culture and that of their native country. Digital equipment is used for documentation and presentation of various forms of cultural expression. |
| Undervisning/Arbetsformer |
| Teacher-led instruction, workshops, tutorial guidance, practical work in groups and individually, seminars, literature study and study visits. The various parts and content of the course are saved in a digital portfolio which also comprises the final task. |
| Examination |
The course is examined with the help of written and oral presentations containing analysis, evaluation and reflection together with exhibitions, computer-based presentations or performance.
Studerande som underkänts två gånger på kursen eller del av kursen har rätt att begära en annan examinator vid förnyat examinationstillfälle. |
