CONTENTS | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
In the course, the student's ability to analyse markets is developed by studying the interaction between the basic conditions, market structure and company strategies of different sectors and its outcome on the function of the sector. Microeconomic theory is applied to understand how the actors in the market behave in different market types and what effects different strategies may have on the function of the market. In the market analysis, particular focus is also on public regulation. Studied in that context are also theories of public regulation, something on competition law and experiences from regulation of different markets and the liberalisation processes that have taken place in recent years, not least in Sweden. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
