| AIM OF THE COURSE |
After completed the course the student should be able to:
- show understanding of the economic analysis of environmental law and policy.
- apply the economic analysis of environmental law and policy to environmental problems. |
| CONTENTS |
The course covers the following subjects:
- Principles of environmental law and policy
- Property rights and the environment
- Environmental regulations
- Economic instruments
- Environmental crime |
| TEACHING |
| Teaching consists of lectures. The language of the course is English. In addition to those, the studenten are expected to study on their own. Language of instruction: English |
| EXAMINATION |
Examination is a written exam.
Students who have passed an examination may not retake it in order to improve their grades. |
| ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS |
For admission to the course the students shall have knowledge corresponding to primary level microeconomics. |

| The course is graded according to the ECTS grading scale A-F |
