CONTENTS
Modern Analytical Philosophy, 9 HE credits
This module covers the modern history of analytical philosophy. All students are assigned the same reading list, which has a high degree of problematising and illustrates different ways to methodically approach the philosophic questions.

Individualised Literature Course, 6 HE credits
In this module, the students orient themselves in the field that constitutes background to the subject chosen for the subsequent thesis of the course. The students decide the individual literature for the course in consultation with the supervisor.

Thesis, 15 HE credits
The topic is chosen in consultation with the supervisor and should be well delimited to facilitate a thorough treatment in the form of an article. The thesis work should have a thesis statement based on argumentation. The thesis work should therefore show that the student has the ability to carry out a philosophical argument independently.

The teaching mainly takes the form of writing and independent literature studies. In addition, there will be seminars both on the literature and the essays.
The thesis work is followed by the supervisor. The completed essay is defended at a seminar. To be student reviewer on a seminar thesis is a course requirement.
EXAMINATION
The course is examined through written examination, oral examination and through the thesis, which is covered at a seminar, as well as through critical review on another student's thesis.
